My Philosophy

  • MY APPROACH

I support adults who struggle with trauma and grief to revitalize their self and relationships. I am privileged to work with survivors of early trauma, abuse and violence, collective or cultural trauma, clients experiencing grief, loss, transitions, and displacements in culture and in life. I deeply believe in the healing power of mind-body integrative therapies and my clients’ own inner wisdom. My therapeutic approach is firmly rooted in attachment theory, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Yoga practice. Trauma and loss remain locked within our nervous system until we access and process them together, within a safe and compassionate therapeutic relationship. Through our work together, you will reclaim balance within yourself, healthy control over your life, and find meaning and harmony in your relationships. Let’s return you back home to yourself!

  • MY VALUES

My therapeutic practice reflects the highest professional ethics and intentionally aims to decolonialize therapy. I affirm and honor each person’s humanity. I honor the wisdom and land stewardship of the Indigenous Lenape Nation on whose land I practice, and I commit to continuing their ecological caretaking by currently: operating the practice entirely on 100% renewable energy; conserving resources of water and energy; re/up-cycling and properly managing waste; engaging in community efforts to clean the Delaware River Canal State Park; and caring for our local community of all living beings by offering opportunities to connect with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.
